IF surrender

This is my first IF contribution, it has been very hot in Sydney yesterday it hit 40C so I have done a quick sketch called surrender to the heat. Not much else to do but lie in the hammock under the mango tree to escape.
Water colour and ink.

Sent my sketchbook off  to Brooklyn Art Library yesterday.

Saw some peaches and just had to draw some, ink and water colour I love the wet look they retain.

I've been doing lots of  doodles for my sketchbook and have started to compile them in at last all about what I do in the morning at this stage.

Here is one of my latest designs ink and pastel. Cornflowers in my garden.

tomatoes

I'm doing some drawings of tomatoes and making up some recipes for my sketchbook, here is one first scratch.

Making up a tomato soup recipe and others, more to come.

Also growing tomatoes in my new vegetable garden made out of used pallets collected from the side of the road.

I have herbs,  vegies and flowers now starting to grow up in the back yard. Just picked coriander is wonderful. Can't wait till it's in full bloom.

Starting on my sketchbook project. Putting down drawings I've scrapped out on bits of paper here and there to make something worth looking at I hope.....
